This is one of the identical protests happening across the globe in the current scenario. You have protests in London, Paris, Geneva, Sydney, Oslo, Toronto, Kualalampur, Singapore, Chennai and Bangalore as well.

When UN reports and many organisations across the Globe say there are so much of deviations from Human Rights in the War Zones of SriLanka, India is supporting the Government of Srilanka and signing against bringing in the case in the UN. There are reports which says, almost 25000 people, including children and young generation were killed in the NO FIRE Zones of Tamil Eelam. But still there is no action against the Govt of Srilanka, by the so called UNO. So this was one of opportunities for the people who love fellow civilian/people to show their interests on men and women and children in Eelam.

Bangalore Scene on 7th June 2009:
The ground near the railway station was filled with men and women and children ane members of Karnataka Tamil Makkal Iyakkam (Karnataka Tamil Peoples Association). The activities started when people with posters, placards and guys dressed like Tigers came into the ground. Initially they had some talks and then few songs showcasing the sad situation in the war zone. Then came Director Seeman from Chennai, who gave a powerful speech for 90mins. Post that, the human chain rally was started and ended at the Cubbon Park.

Other activities included the shoeing and burning of effigy of Rajapaksa and burning of Karunanithi family based newspaper Dinakaran, as they wrote news supporting SL Government.

NOTE: Many said Prabhakaran is Dead and few still Believe, He is ALIVE. At the venue people carried the posters which said, Prabhakaran will come soon on the limelight and give his HEROES DAY SPEECH on 27th November 2009. Watever may be case, we need to support and save the innocent civilians still struck in the so called NO FIRE ZONE. Hoping for the BEST.
