22nd March 2013. The Alternative in association with Korkai and many other water conservation groups in Bangalore took a great step to celebrate the World Water Day with a series of events including a photo exhibition at Max Mueller Bhavan and multiple photo walks across Bangalore dying lakes. I was happy to be a part of Varthur Lake walk and documented the scenes on 23rd March 2013. I must say Varthur Lake is very close to what a lake has to be.... Read More

The invitation sent by vinod for his wedding was amazing, and it conveyed his 5 yrs of love story, their roaming locations and finally their success. He is working with us for couple of years now, and almost the whole of our office went and wished him on the reception day. I promised him to shoot and deliver few images from his wedding, as his wedding gift. I felt complex, when I understood the time of Muhurtham (5:45am) the next day morning after... Read More

Ya hooooo…. I’m back on my blog after a long time. Thanks to Timeout Bengaluru, for facilitating this opportunity. Yup, in continuation to their 4th Anniversary Celebrations at Bangalore, TOB organised a Live show at Counter Culture in Sep 2012, where the Band “The Bicycle days” played Tele-drug Zombies song as Timeout Bengaluru Anthem. I was lucky enough to pull in Manas Saran and Shreelesh Kumar to shoot the song with me... Read More

When i happened to watch a belly dance performance at Alliance de Francaise couple of years, i didn’t carry my camera to capture the pretty movements of these dancers. But, this time around at the Chowdiah hall, i made sure, i had an entry and a camera permit. Some of the images from the dance show by our own Bangalore based dancers. Little more about Rags Sharqi: Belly dance or Bellydance is a Western-coined name for a traditional Middle Eastern... Read More

I got a great opportunity to shoot at the campus of Infosys, Electronic City sometime back. The brief was simple. They were looking for images of their human resource for their internal usage. It was fun shooting with boys and girls inside the low light zones and outside in the lawns. Some of the images from the shoot below. Special thanks to Anita Bora. Read More →

The Puttenahalli underpass is being built on J.P. Nagar 15th Cross, which intersects 24th Main and the Ring Road. The Rs. 23-crore project was taken up about three years ago to ease traffic flow from the southern reaches of the city. Work on the project, which was supposed to be completed in February 2009, is going on at a snail’s pace. After throwing open the overpass on 24th Main, the Minister said that the contractor has not kept his word... Read More

Raj Lalwani of Better Photography visited Bangalore on official work and he is kinda heard that Hard Rock Bangalore is the best in the country. Though i visited The HardRock couple of times in the past, this is the first time, we dropped in to Hard Rock on a crowded Saturday Evening. The ambiance was great and music was rocking, as the name suggests. Guys and Girls of all ages, shapes and sizes were drinking alcohol. I guess, Akash and I were the... Read More
