In spite of all my dislikes for Indian Independence Day, I enjoyed and celebrated this year in a small village in Tamil Nadu with some primary school kids. Shooting these children with 3 great qualities (Innocent, Ignorant and Independent) that are very specific to the remote villages had been a great experience. The eighth edition of the International Jawa Yezdi day celebration was held at the Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore. The event was organized by the Bangalore Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle club. The Jawa and Yezdi bikes were well known for their reliability and an amazingly low cost of maintenance.
