In spite of all my dislikes for Indian Independence Day, I enjoyed and celebrated this year in a small village in Tamil Nadu with some primary school kids. Shooting these children with 3 great qualities (Innocent, Ignorant and Independent) that are very specific to the remote villages had been a great experience. One fine day, when i was crossing Anil Kumble circle, i was surprised to see 100s of men and women on the road side looking at a new metro bogie, which was showcased on the MG Roadd. There were a lot of cars and bikes park under the newly constructed metro flyover, as if it was a designated parking lot. Infact it is a parking lot for this newly developed Tourist Spot. The eighth edition of the International Jawa Yezdi day celebration was held at the Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore. The event was organized by the Bangalore Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle club. The Jawa and Yezdi bikes were well known for their reliability and an amazingly low cost of maintenance.
